Hee hee! I had to put INDIANA in all caps because I live not too far from a sweet little town in Ohio called NEW Bremen. When we get casual around here (which is most of the time) we sometimes just say “Bremen.” Well, THIS Bremen is JUST Bremen and it’s located in North Central Indiana. You should look for it on a map. It’s in Marshall County. Find it? Good! Because even though Practical County is a fictional place, everyone in and around Bremen, Argos, and Plymouth, Indiana knows that they really, truly are in Practical County! Come see me, old Practical County friends! Hugs, Michelle
Come on out to the library for a Meet and Greet and Book Signing with Michelle Houts, award-winning author of The Beef Princess of Practical County and the newly-released sequel The Practical County Drama Queen. See what spunky Frannie Ryan has been up to since Houts’s last visit to Northern Indiana.
Michelle will also have two newer books for sale, Winterfrost, a magical Christmas tale for grades 3 and up, and Kammie on First: Baseball’s Dottie Kamenshek, the biography of one the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League’s most celebrated players.
